Project for energy efficiency in the company

POR FESR 2014-2020, Axis 4. Action 4.2.1.
Resolution no. 1630 of 12 October 2017 “Call for the provision of contributions aimed at energy efficiency of small and medium-sized enterprises”. Project title: Energy Saving in DALLA COSTA ALIMENTARE s.r.l.Description: The project consists of two interventions.

First intervention: replacement of a cutting-bending machine (used for the production of “butterflies”) currently in use with a new one with greater energy efficiency.

Second intervention: installation of a cogeneration plant. Given the simultaneous demand for electricity and thermal energy, a cogeneration plant will be installed, which allows the simultaneous production of electricity and hot water from a single fuel source, such as natural gas. A properly sized system can lead to primary energy savings that can in some cases even reach 25-30%, depending on the parameters and installation characteristics, as well as a significant reduction in CO2 emissions.
